Risk Assessment

House
When the glass of water is knocked over we need to make sure none of the electrical filming equipment is put near it because it could brake the camera etc. Also we need to make sure that if one of our actors has to walk near the spilled water, we need to be careful not to slip on it because somebody could get hurt.
The smoke machine could become a hazard because obviously it will block certain objects in the actors view making it harder to see if they will walk into anything. Because of this we will need to be careful when moving around in the misted views so nobody gets hurt.
Fake cigarettes won't be as much of a risk in the making of our film because they don't have any harmful effects.
As there will be some syringes hanging around on the floor and around the house, we will have to be careful not to stand on them, again so that nobody gets hurt during the making of our film.
Aggressive actions could be dangerous during the filming because if we don't stage it well we could be at risk of hurting someone especially when Jack will be pulling Emma around by her hair. Because of this we will have to make sure we rehearse these parts of the film well enough in order to not hurt anyone.


Forest
The noose in the forest seen could cause some damage if we don't use it properly because if we aren't careful we could end up hurting someone especially as it will be around Emma's neck at some point during the filming sessions. Also as it will be made by rope we need to be careful when handling it due to rope burns in the skin.
Slipping surfaces in the forest could be a risk when filming because we need to be able to place the camera and tripod on the ground without it slipping on a leaf or a bit of wet etc. Also we need to be careful when walking about in the forest as we could end up slipping and falling which could hurt somebody.
In the forest that we have decided to film in, there is a stream leading into a large hole which trails in a housing estate into a river. Because of this we will need to be very careful not to drop anything into it as not only will it be water damaged, we could end up losing something. Mostly we need to be careful not to stand too close to the stream incase we slip into it.


Police Interrogation Room
In this scene we will be using a lamp as our light source; this could cause a few risks such as: we need to be careful not to touch the bulb during this time because the it will be switched on for quite a while and will undoubtably become really hot so we need to be careful not to burn ourselves. Also we need to make sure the light will be able to last throughout the time of filming because if it dies during the filming we won't have any other light in the room which could lead to someone getting hurt. Finally we will need to be careful will any liquids being near the wire because it could electrocute somebody if water is spilt on it.

Street
Connor will be driving the car at some point during the film with Olivia with him, he will have to be careful when driving to ensure that nobody gets hurt and he doesn't go in the wrong direction as he could end up damaging something, including our recording equipment.
A potential risk on the street would be other people walking past etc because if somebody gets in a shot leading to another shot and they are no longer there the film will not be consecutive.
